Pink and Sparkly Ball in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Formby Hall Golf Club

More than 200 guests attended the annual Pink and Sparkly Ball at Formby Hall Golf Club and helped raise £6,000 in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

The evening was organised by Claire Simonsen and mum Margaret Flynn who set up the Mike Flynn Tribute Fund within Roy Castle following the loss of Claire’s dad to lung cancer four years ago.

Claire and Jay Hynd from the breakfast show on Radio City 96.7 hosted the event and delivered a packed programme of entertainment throughout the evening which left guests, dressed in fabulous pink dresses and fetching pink bow ties partying until the early hours of the morning.
