THE Lancaster Medical Book Club held their annual dinner at the Midland Hotel in Morecambe. More than 100 guests enjoyed welcome drinks and three course meal before President Hugh Stewart reminded members of the origins of the book club which was founded in 1823 and is one of the oldest local medical societies in the county.
