Former TV AM host Anne Diamond was the speaker at the recent Stanley House Hotel Lancashire Ladies’ Lunch event giving around 200 guests an insight into her colourful broadcasting career.
The event was the last in a series of luncheons hosted by the Mellor luxury hotel and was held in aid of local children’s charity, Miles of Smiles.
TV chef and ‘Ladette to Lady’ mentor, Rosemary Shrager, and former MP and Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Edwina Currie, have been among the guests. In all, they helped to raise in the region of £5,000 for charity.
